Caran D’Ache – Clutch Pencil – 849 Nespresso 4 (Limited Edition)

Caran d’Ache presents the limited edition 849 clutch pencil made using the aluminium from recycled Nespresso capsules. This collaboration between two iconic Swiss companies brings together common values – sustainable development, innovation and Swiss design quality – to create a unique writing instrument. 

The Nespresso 4 mechanical pencil shows off the satin ochre colour of the Cape Town Envivo Lungo capsules and boasts a graphite lead made from 25% coffee grounds. The hexagonal aluminium body is lightweight yet durable, and features a flexible metal clip and black push button with incorporated lead sharpener.

The 2mm lead is comparable to a soft HB and is only available with the finished product and  cannot be bought separately. It is however compatible with Caran d’Ache’s regular clutch pencil 2mm refill. 

The environmentally-friendly packaging is made from 100% recycled and recyclable cardboard.
