Vinta – Fountain Pen Ink – Fairytale Collection – The Maiden (Lakambini 1950)

Vinta’s Fairytale series takes inspiration from the Lola Basyang fairytales, written by Severino Reyes. The Maiden is a pink ink with faint nuances of brown-purple, overlaid with a gold shimmer.. It is inspired by the “Ang Binibining Tumalo sa Hari” story where a slave’s daughter, Sharay, overcomes the King’s many challenges with wit in order to win the prince’s hand in marriage. 1950 is the year when the Lola Basyang radio drama show became popular.

As part of the Vinta Initiative, a portion of each ink bottle sale is donated to the Teach for the Philippines Inc., which helps Filipino children access quality education.
